    Vengeance is counter-productive

Here's a most important question which I want every single member of my reading audience to answer with complete candor. Have you ever said to yourself, when someone said something terrible to you, I'll get him or her for that, I'll make absolutely sure that they pay for all of the hurt which they've caused me....I'll make sure that they get theirs? Now My Friend, I believe that if you're being completely honest here today, you'll have to admit to the fact, that in the past you were inclined to be a rather vengeful type of individual, always trying to get even with those whom you perceived did you wrong.

Now, here's another question. Have you grown up spiritually, to the point where you no longer engage in this kind of infantile behavior, of wanting to get back at anyone who hurt you in the past, for as the title of this article puts it 'Vengeance is counter-productive'. Now some may say with a rather puzzled look on their face, what am I supposed to do, how am I supposed to behave with those whom I perceive have deliberately tried to hurt or harm me in some way?

The simple answer is, as Jesus The Master Teacher instructed us, to 'Love our enemies'! That's right, love does indeed conquer all, as the saying goes. This is one of THE most important Spiritual Lessons which each and every one of us simply MUST learn, before we can evolve into a better, more well rounded Spiritual Being, who is able to forgive all who offended us, including those whom we really do know tried their best to run us down. And how many times should we forgive others? Well once again I believe that Jesus The Master Teacher gave us the answer to that one, when he said 'Seventy times seven'.

Now the real point which I wish to make here today, and indeed make loud and clear is this. When you are angry at others, and are thus using all of your Mental Energy plotting to get even, to avenge those whom you feel have wronged you; the only person you're hurting in effect is you! That's right, vengeful thoughts are negative, poisonous and toxic in substance. They're also totally unspiritual.

So My Friend, in conclusion, you need to forgive everyone, all of your so-called enemies, and all whom you perceive are perhaps trying to hurt you in any way. Once you forgive them and in your mind, surround them with God's Love & Light....you have actually been set free, released from bondage, as your mind is depleted of all negative, destructive thoughts of vengeance, as you then focus on God's love WITHIN not only you, but also WITHIN those whom you perceived tried to hurt you.
