I must say I have been extremely blessed to have been able to work with and thus learn so very much over the years from many legendary teachers in the field of Behavior Modification and Personal Development; experts such as Earl Nightingale affectionately known as The Dean of Personal Motivation, Dr. Maxwell Maltz who wrote the definitive book on Self-image Psychology 'Psycho-Cybernetics', and Best Selling Author and specialist in the field of High Performance Dr. Denis Waitley.
Dr. Waitley is the Author of a host of best selling books including 'The Psychology of Winning', 'Being your Best' and 'The Winner's Edge' to name a few. My association with each of these world renown leaders in their field, prepared me for the role I presently gladly fill, as I hopefully motivate people around the globe via the internet, the world wide web.
Now, one of the most important things which I learnt from Dr. Waitley was, that as the title of this article so correctly states 'There are no accidents'....there really aren't! Now, as much as I hate to burst your bubble, as the saying goes; if you have been using the very incorrect phrase 'It was an accident' over and over again, when something happens which has happened as a direct result of your incorrect actions, or lack of action as the case may be, please stop it this very minute! Nothing in this world happens by accident. That's right, everything that happens in your life happens as a direct result of your thoughts and/or actions there are no accidents. I sincerely hope, that you fully understand this absolute TRUTH!
But some may say, I just had a car accident a couple of weeks ago. Once again, 'There are no accidents', as Dr. Waitley put it in his best seller 'The Psychology of Winning' "All so-called accidents are caused either by defective equipment or bad judgment on the part of the driver"....it really is as simple as that. When we say something is an accident, we are in effect just looking for an excuse not to accept personal responsibility for our behavior.
Parents and Guardians need to teach this undeniable TRUTH to all of the children in their care, so that they learn to fully accept personal responsibility for all of their actions at an early age. Don't allow kids to keep on saying, in many cases repeatedly like parrots 'It's an accident' when they continually mess up, for example when they break something, for as the title of today's program so correctly states 'There are no accidents'!
