A lawyer who admitted to drug possession has been ordered to attend counseling. Devard Williams, 44, of Marshall Road, pleaded guilty to having cocaine on November 15 when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Roger Gomez yesterday. Williams returns to court on March 27, 2009. That's when the court will review a report on his progress from counselors at Teen Challenge. Williams will receive a discharge depending on the results of that report. Williams was arrested in front of a building on Deveaux Street after police found the drugs in his Jeep. |
