Why am I here? There are no doubt a whole lot of people, who daily ask themselves the question posed by the title of today's article 'Why am I here?'. Still others, those who are in an extremely negative, destructive, even depressed state of mind may say "After all, I didn't ask to be born"....Oh yes you did, but My Friend, that's a whole different matter which I'll deal with at a later date in another article. There was a great piece written in The Divine Science Daily Studies, which I believe adequately answers the question 'Why am I here?'. It reads as follows "I agree with the great truth that I am a child of God, a child of the Most High, a Son of the Loving God. I am here to express and share God's love and goodness with my world. I am here that I might bring into fruition the Life, Intelligence, Wisdom and Power that God seeks to share with me. I am a channel of the Divine and it is the Father's good pleasure to share His nature with me. My God withholds nothing. "Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine". My good is always at hand because God is here. My supply is ever-present because God is Omnipresent. "No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly". I walk in the agreement that I am one with God and God is one with me....which is walking "Uprightly". I now claim my birthright which is harmony, health, peace, joy, and true self-expression. I know that as I claim my oneness with God I will meet with success as I move through life. I will move from joy to joy, from success to success, and from glory to glory, for such is the will of my Father. My trust is in God and it is steadfast, my faith in him is unwavering. My joy is full. I praise God for the answered prayer". Well My Friend, I sincerely hope and pray that you now know exactly why you were born, why you're presently living this phase of your eternal life on planet earth. The undeniable FACT is, that you are a 'Child of God' born in His image and after His likeness. Your task therefore during this lifetime is to fully express The Christ WITHIN, with ALL whom you come in contact with throughout the day and night. Your job is to daily inspire people, to literally turn them on to The TRUTH of their Divine Heritage, so that they'll feel really good about themselves. Let your LIGHT, The LIGHT of The Christ WITHIN shine brightly for all to see, and indeed genuinely feel. Why don't you be a living example for all to emulate. This then is your Divine Mission, your daily task, this is why you're actually here. THINK ABOUT IT!
