    Who's that girl

By Chakara Bennett ~ Guardian Summer Intern:

This weekend, lady luck is on your side because you are in for a double dose of good treatment. You've heard her jingle for a popular sub sandwich shop, and you've seen her music videos "Tada" and "Keep Moving" on MTV's Tempo. Now it's time to meet this young starlet in person.

And you can do so on Saturday as Terneille Burrows also known as "TaDa" will be performing live at the Mall at Marathon's annual food and music festival. She intends to ignite the stage with her firey performance and put on a show that you will not soon

    forget.

"I'm extremely excited about this upcoming weekend. This show means a lot to me because it's coming at the right time. The mall is a great central location for all of my fans to see me especially since this is a free concert. This is the first all-age concert I'll be putting on and I'm really happy. In the past, all of my concerts have had age restrictions one way or the other but this time everyone can come. It's going to be great!"

Burrows also feels that the concert is a great way to give back to those who've supported her on her journey. She will be performing some of her hits like "Go" and "Footprints in the Sand" among others. She also hopes to respond to crowd requests in her attempt to make the show more lively.

NCITY, the group that brought you "Like Me" will also be in the house, and expected to perform.

While you will jam out to the performance by TaDa and NCITY don't forget about the food aspect of the festival, as there will be food samples and items available to the public from the mall's eateries.

Mall manager, Bob Stevenson, says each year their food and music festival gets bigger, and says it has evolved from just being about food sampling and the sidewalk sale into this music and multi-media entertainment event.

This is a special treat for our customers. We like to mix in fun and excitement for the whole family. Last year we had a live band and this year its TaDa. So we really hope that people come out and enjoy the incredible entertainment and samples," he said.

This event isn't for adults, because there will be more than enough things to keep the kids entertained with balloons, face painting and of course a bouncing castle.

"So parents you don't have to worry about what your kids will do while you are partaking in the delicious food on offer and grooving out to TaDa. Also, for the karaoke lovers Dr. Lutz will also be in attendance to do a karaoke jam session.

Just when you thought it couldn't get better, after the show you will still be in time to catch the end of the three-day sidewalk sale that most stores in the mall will be participating in.
