What Do You Really Want From Your Financial Planning?

"Do yourself a favor and master the art of financial planning. Treat money as an honored guest in your life, one who will quickly flee if you do not treat her well, but one who will stay and enrich your life beyond measure if you treat her with care and respect."- A Wise Man

Let me ask a question that may surprise you, it's the title of this section "What Do You Really Want From Your Financial Planning?

The number of persons I meet on a regular basis who say, "I'm going to save more money", always surprises me. Or "I'm going to lose weight."

But "Do You Really Want To Take Control of Your Financial Future?"

It's easy to say that you want to take control of your money but it takes more than that to actually accomplish it. In order to take control of your money you have to really want to and then to set it as a goal that you are committed to achieving.

Simply saying it is one thing but actually accomplishing it is another.

So "Do You REALLY Want To Take Control of Your Financial Future?

You can by simply creating an image of your future self by:

    1. Deciding specifically what you want - your goals - in writing.

    2. Deciding what you're willing to give up getting what you want-in writing.

    3. Deciding how (Step-by-step) you will achieve your goals - in writing.

    4. Deciding to commit by writing a commitment to yourself and signing your name to it.

Once you have taken these steps then you're able to answer this question with confidence and you are ready to accomplish it. Life is all about setting goals, no matter how you want to achieve a goal you will not get very far if you don't take the first step and set it as a goal.

Achieving your goals take commitment. This first step signals your commitment to the process. It is very difficult to change years of unrestricted habits and that's what "Taking Control" is all about. Without fully committing yourself to the process you cannot expect to succeed.

Take the time to decide if you are really ready to begin effectively managing your money in a way that would lead to your financial independence. Realizing that once you have made that decision you will have to work at it.

Just as an infant you couldn't walk. Walking was part of a process that began with crawling before you advanced slowly onto two feet, with the occasional fall. Likewise, your journey to financial freedom and your financial planning process will require you taking incremental steps, and sometimes making mistakes. But with consistent effort you will accomplish your goals.

To continue your journey just email me and I will sent you the article "A Tool You Should Have To Achieve Your Financial Freedom"

"Where you are headed is more important than how fast you are going. Rather than always focusing on what's urgent, learn to focus on what is really important." – Unknown
